Getting a promotion is exciting and (be honest!) a little scary. The skills that earned you the promotion are not all you need to be successful in your new position. Your new role likely requires you to: manage across functions, get results by influence rather than authority, and interface with executives and the board of directors.
Your new job didn't come with a manual or training guide, so you will need to create your own customized plan. The skills you need to expand your leadership can be learned. And, as you advance your skills you will also gain the insights you need to work effectively with people at all levels. As your mentor and coach I provide you tools, training, and support as you bring your unique brand and style of leadership to your new role.
VISION AND GOALS
Knowing what you want sets the destination. Getting there requires a great map.
The first step is to get your ideas out of your head and onto paper or into pixels. Once you can "see" your ideas, you unlock choices about which road to take. I will provide you with visual tools to gain clarity about your vision and get specific about the actions you need to take. Working together your concepts and ideas turn into a concrete, written action plan so your ideas can come alive!

Meetings.
Love them or hate them but they are the way humans collaborate and work together.
I have two strong opinions about meetings:
1. They are never a stand alone event. A meeting is part of a business process.
2. A meeting worth holding is one worth designing well.
As the meeting organizer you are responsible for using participants' time well and creating an environment to achieve the meeting objectives. You already know the mechanics of structuring a meeting and it's not enough. We go beyond agendas and ice breakers to level up your meeting design and create magic that makes people look forward to your meetings.
